How the Bottom Gusset Operates
The foundation of every stand-up pouch is its W-folded bottom gusset. During fabrication, the gusset is heat-bonded to the front and back panels with arched seals at each lower corner. As product enters the pouch during filling, gravity drives the material downward, forcing the gusset outward into a curved, elliptical bowl that acts as a stable foundation.
Zipper Tracks and Reclosability
Pactrum stand-up pouches include pre-installed polyethylene interlocking zipper tracks positioned approximately 25mm to 35mm below the top rim. This allows end consumers to reseal the pouch repeatedly after purchase, protecting dry goods from ambient humidity and dust.
Tear Notches for Clean Opening
V-shaped tear notches are stamped on both sides of the pouch between the top heat-seal zone and the zipper. This allows consumers to cleanly tear off the top seal without needing scissors.
